Let the Bullets Fly begins its run this Friday at Reading Cinemas Gaslamp 15, and the San Diego Asian Film Festival wants you to attend.
Directed by Jiang Wen (Devils on the Doorstep, The Sun Also Rises) and starring the brilliant and undeniably charismatic Chow Yun-Fat (The Killer, Full Contact, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), the period action/comedy/western is the highest grossing domestic release in the history of Chinese cinema.
Members of SDAFF will on hand for Friday's 7:25 p.m. showing. They come bearing gifts in the form of DVD copies of Ip Man, Triple Tap, Stool Pigeon and more to distribute to those fast on the draw with answers to trivia questions.
The film is slotted for a two-week run, but why not show your support for SDAFF by attending Friday night's screening? Hey, maybe SDAFF guiding force Lee Ann Kim will be there in person. If that's the case, who needs movies?
Tickets for the screening are $10.50. Click for more information.
