I am so, so sorry to come late to the dance on this one. My old friend and pride of the local film community, Neil Kendricks presents his annual "art happening" tonight at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, 700 Prospect St, La Jolla.
Alt.pictureshows is a buffet-style mini-film festival where participants are free to “physical channel surf” by popping in and out screening rooms at will.
Neil describes it as, "Part film festival and part art happening with a twist, the always surprising and innovative alt.pictureshows also showcases indie music videos by Nathan Gulick and Aaron So to and a 'greatest hits' selection of shorts from the event’s past decade, including award-winning cinematic works that got their San Diego debut at MCASD."
