Morgan Freeman: Obama Made Racism Worse in America

Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman has accused President Obama of helping to further drive a shiv between the races.

When asked by CNN talk show host Piers Morgan, "Has Obama helped the process of eradicating racism, or has it in a strange way made it worse," Freeman was quick to reply, "Made it worse!" He also blamed the Tea Party for saying they're "going to do whatever [they] can to get this black man outta here.”

"Well, it just shows the weak, dark, underside of America," Freeman told Morgan. "We’re supposed to be better than that. We really are. That’s, that’s why all those people were in tears when Obama was elected president. 'Ah, look at what we are. Look at how, this is America.' You know? And then it just sort of started turning because these people surfaced like stirring up muddy water."

In an attempt to be fair and equal, wasn't Morgan Freeman the actor who did so much to eradicate racism in this great country of ours by portraying a warm and fuzzy domestic in Driving Miss Daisy? Just saying.

Herman 'Citizen' Cain, anomalistic Tea Party presidential candidate and winner in Saturday's Florida Straw Poll, responded to Freeman's accusations. He told Fox's Neil Cavuto, "Most of the people that are criticizing the Tea Parties...about having a racist element, they have never been to a Tea Party."

I have never had the privilege of personally attended a Tea Party, Klan rally, Beer Hall Putsch, or Bund dance. For that matter, life's travels have never led me to ComicCon, a Chargers game, or a Curves dance class, but it doesn't take much imagination to know what goes on at each gathering.
