In explaining the difficulties that arose between Fox and director Michael Bay on the Transformers set, co-star Shia LaBeouf famously opined:
“Megan developed this Spice Girl strength, this woman-empowerment [stuff] that made her feel awkward about her involvement with Michael, who some people think is a very lascivious filmmaker, the way he films women.”
Former Victoria's Secret model Huntington-Whitely apparently felt somewhat less awkward, and so she wound up replacing Fox for the third installment, which pretty much made the following confrontation unavoidable:
