Some Fun Stuff

Fun stuff from online sites, TV, everyday life.

Here is a funny sent to me by a friend:

Having already downed a few power drinks, she turns around, faces him, looks him straight in the eye and says, "Listen here good looking, I screw anybody, anytime, anywhere, your place, my place, in the car, on the ground, standing up, sitting down, naked or with clothes on, it doesn't matter to me. I just love it."

Eyes now wide with interest, he responds, "No kidding. I'm in Congress too. What state are you from?"

This is a Port Press Release that just made me laugh:

Port of San Diego Opens Customer Service Stations to Help Truckers

Standing at the bus stop on 5th at Broadway. A young woman was running into the street to chase away pigeons when they landed on the street. Apparently, she thought she needed to save them from being hit by a car.

the name of a beer: Olde Frothing Slosh

The TV commercial for Bob Baker Subaru: It shows cars being driven by animals and then shows the statements: "Dog tested. Dog approved." HUH??

The TV commercial for Car Max shows a wild cat with a questioning expression followed by a baby in a highchair looking quizzical. Then the words: "Dramatically Smart" HUH??

Don't you love the word "FREE"? Apparently it now can be used to attempt to gain customers via the internet. There are thousands of entries under the heading of telephone white pages or reverse phone look up.

Here are just a few examples:

Find personal info using only a phone number. Search Free Now! PhoneAgentSource.com/Phone_Lookup

Reverse phone book free Information Get Better Results on Ask!

The Official WhitePages - Find People for Free

Phone number and reverse phone search. Free and fast online phone book from PhoneNumber.com.

Find a Person or Business with our free White Pages and Yellow Pages

But, the catch is they only tell you that the information is available. If you actually want the information...Get out the credit card!!!

I peruse my cell phone bill every month. The only way to identify a number that I do not recognize is to call the number. I use my land line to make these calls as it is caller ID blocked. I have managed to get several calls removed from my bills. It might not seem like much, but over my lifetime, it could amount to a few dollars!!!!
