I see the Calico Solar Project is having some changes. Southern California Edison canciled it's contract with Teeeera Solar for power from the 663 megawatt project. The 709 megawatt Imperial valley Solar project is planned to power San Diego Gas & Electric. It is ok to bury Americans under I-5,10 & 15 and burn or chemically dislove them, but to mess with ancient Indian sites is a Federal no-no. The Irish conglomerate NTR developing the Imperial Valley Solar Project has sold it's Calico Solar project in San Bernardino County to K Road Sun a San Diego firm. Ref: San Diego Union-Tribune 12/28/10 & 12/03/10, page C1&2 The Navy has awarded $7E9 in contracts to build 20 of it's new littoral combat ships. Lockheed Martin will assemble 10 of them for $3.62E9 over 6 years and Austal USA a unit of Austal Limited, in Australia with a yard in Mobile, Alabama will build 10 for $3.52E9.
