Walked over to the dam on Sunday after the 10:30 mass. The sun was out, the water flow is a bit slower now and most of the ice is gone. A few tree limbs are jamed in one of the gates. The mallards and Canadian geese are back. The flys and insects are starting to come back, I even saw a bee the other day, but think it is too cold for them yet as it was floping on the ground like it was on drugs. I am looking at the waters coming down the dam, looking for the fish, as they should start running soon. When they run some of them try to swim up the gate flows out of the dam, its quite a sight to see. Two trumpeter swans have been seen near the Musser Estates the last few days too.
