Just a note that Haiti's presidential Palace, a Beaux Arts structure was built by U.S. Navy engineers in 1918 and it has met it's match. They should have used Marines!.

I see San Diego and Los Angeles are being washed away. Well we are having fog and Winter frosty art on the trees with ice crystals forming artistic structures with their geometrical forms. It is nature in its splendor of Winter artistry.The mallards are hanging out in a pond fed by a underground spring that keeps the water above freezing and allowing them a food supply on the bottom. This is a lesson in the surivival of the fittest.
The Puntland pirates and the Xaradpirates are guning it out for the ransom of the Greek-owned tanker Maran Centaurus. Now that they know where they are on land, maybe the shiping companies can send in troops and recover the money.
