I see Exelon will close the oldest nuclear power plant in the U.S. in 2019, 10 years earlier than planed. Oyser Creek Nuclear Generating Station in the Forked River section of Lacey Township. The plant went on line in 1969 and draws 1.4E9 gallons of water a day from Barnegrt Bay killing billions of aquatic creatures each year. The plant is 60 miles East of Philadelphia and 75 miles South of New York City. There is a leak of radioactive tritium in the plants old pipes but they are not worried about it as this is in the natural system of the Earth anyway.
