There has been a cormorant fishing in the river here the last few days. I have been watching it as I cross the bridge each day . Also there are some mallards moving around in the wide open water with the cormorant. The mallards are also still hanging out in the dam spillways eating green moss. Some things learned: 1. Palin's "a view right from main street" speech was given in Hong Kong as reported in Ming Poa Hong Kong news paper. 2. A English farmer found 1,500 pieces of Anglo-Saxon historical intricately worked gold and silver from the seventh century. The pieces will be on display at the Birmingham Museum and art Gallery.
