On Sunday morning fog was heavy. The Canadian geese were flying in between eight and ten AM in waves of four flocks. At ten AM looking out at the mississippi river the water was like glass, the trees are starting to turn yellow to cream green. The sky was clearing with a hint of fog in the air and a full sun shine.
The Arts and Crafts Fair had perfect weather and a large turn out estimated at well over 100,000 people. the types of crafts were endless from carved slices of wood with bark included, engraved and polished stones, iron works, oil and water color paintings and prints, in all 600 exhibitors. Of particular note were the wild life prints that were of outstanding pictureque. I did some wild life drawings at the Sun Cafe, but the ones at the fair had more background. You can ask Judy to see the drawings if you like. I hope she made prints and was able to improve our future with the drawings as they are years of loving investment in our family's relationship's furture.
Some more learned this week: On swine flu- now known as a combination of Avian, Human, and Swine influenza. no pigs in the USA have it, if they ever do, it is now claimed that they will catch it from humans. that is quite a twist as we most always blame the animals.

A twist in Afghanistan; Urban development with the Band-e-Amir first national Park with USAID in Bamiyan Province with US Ambassador Karl Eikenberry. Maby the Marines coud build a R&R center there and Judy and I could open another Sun Cafe there with Joey.
Found some polluted tap water in Charleston, W.VA. The combination of arsenic, barium, lead, nickel is eating the skin and teeth out of the local residents.
