  1. A story on the Sun Cafe's Art Deco historical designation architectural design. As I studied the French Riviea and found Frank Jay Gould's $5E6 Art Deco casino design, The Palais de la Mediterran'ee in Nice, built in 1926. At the Cannes Villa the Gould's entertained, Charlie Chaplin, Orson Wells, Elizabeth Taylor, Paul Getty, Nelson Rockefeller and Joseph Kennedy. I found James Gordon Bennett Jr's $3.1E6 yacht built in 1900. James was with the New York Harold in 1877 and moved to the French Riviea with his wife Maud Baroness de Reuter. Another resident was Wall street banker -turned sculptor, Henry Clews Jr.. I found the bronze statue " God of Humormystics" which today, is at the La Napoule Art Foundation in Portsmouth New Hampshire. It is great to see the Sun cafe of San Diego being of such stature as to stand up to the French Riviea!!. My dear Judy, to use Gerald Murphy's words, you are to me as "... what you said in Tender is the Night is true. only the invented part of our life-the unreal part- has had any scheme or beauty." www.france Today.com, Feb 2009 page 27. I hope we can invent and meet with Father Mark to set up our date to be married and complete the six month course so we will remain together in the Church in our live and go to heaven to live in love for eternity.
  2. The state of Delaware took the top place in the World, of secretive financial jurisdiction with $2.6E12 deposits from non-resident corporations. Next in line are Luxembourg, Switzerland, Cayman Islands and the United Kingdom.
  3. The largest cruise ship now is The Oasis of the Seas, at 20 stories high which has telescopic smoke-stacks to allow it to pass under World bridges.
