MP3
My DVD player and many new CD players will play CDs full of MP3s or WMAs. Once CD full of Rockabilly, one full of Jazz... one packed with 80s new wave. One packed with early punk. Set to random. - Joe— November 9, 2010 5:41 a.m.
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
I enjoyed it. And yeah, Jay - It probably would have been even better seeing it on the big screen. Maybe the Ken will play it! I still have to see Van Helsing. - Joe— November 8, 2010 8:49 a.m.
Have you been affected by the economy?
I watched as my neighbor was foreclosed on. Helpless. I watched as my co-workers were laid off. I absorbed the jobs of 3 people. I took a pay cut. I work more hours for less.— November 3, 2010 10:59 a.m.
Vista Residents Want North County Transit Trains to Lay Off the Horns
They do the same damn thing at 2:30 in the morning when a freight train rolls through Lemon Grove. I can sleep through it, but my small sons can't.— November 2, 2010 2:14 p.m.
Watercolors: It's All in the Pigment
yeah, it's been years for me too... I'm stuck on acrylics and sign painting enamels now.— November 1, 2010 12:04 p.m.
Watercolors: It's All in the Pigment
So... what did you paint?— November 1, 2010 9 a.m.
Update San Diego 10/21/2010
This year really seems like a "none of the above" election year. Jerry is firmly in the pockets of the labor unions. I really don't see anyone that is that indebted to that interest being able to objectively make good decisions for California. Meg strikes me as a puppet that was propped up by her high power business buddies as someone that they see getting elected and doing them a bunch of favors. Favors that will cost California's environment, poor and middleclass while making the rich richer. oh well. - Joe— October 25, 2010 6:16 a.m.
More Decapitated Corpses Found Hung from Bridges Near Tijuana
"narcomensaje" is in the top 10 of the most awful Google image searches I have ever done. - Joe— October 14, 2010 2:24 p.m.
Is there a word you use that others don't know the meaning to?
Um.... No, a Slor is the form that Gozer took during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants. "Gozer the Traveler. He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!" - Louis, Ghostbusters.— October 11, 2010 2:39 p.m.
curling up
That sounds pretty damn good. I don't comment very often anymore, but I do read your poems from time to time Nan. nicely done.— October 7, 2010 3:52 p.m.
