Sweetwater trustee reports stolen property to police
What a DB!!!! Wasting Chula Vista's tax payers resources for a stupid sign!!! He's a coward and a bully. He's a coward for having the police do his dirty work and a bully for taking it to that level. Why would the city of Chula Vista want someone like that in charge? What does this say to his character? McCann's ego is out of control, where's your compassion? Do you not see how outraged the community is over the boards behavior? Can you not put aside your precious ego and let something trivial go? No you had to call your mommy (CVPD) and have them take care of it for you. Is this how you will waste tax payers money if you ever make it in to city hall? I fear for repercussions from you Mr. McCann because of you treated those people. May GOD have mercy on the city of Chula Vista and the employees of SUHSD. LOSER, or should I say POOR LOSER? P.S. bravo to the folks that spoke their minds about the school board and how disrespectful they are to the Sweetwater community.— June 18, 2013 10:18 p.m.
Sweetwater scandal spotlight: trustee Jim Cartmill
Ed Brand told the employees of soon to be closed MOA that there's a 60% chance that MOA will stay open if the money comes through from the state. According to what we have read/interpreted the adult ed funding must remain the same as the 2012/13 school year if the district is to receive it for the future. I heard a quote from the late Ruth Chapman, "you know he's lying because his mouth is moving" I also heard that a neighbor that lives across the street from the district office has a "Jaime Mercardo for SUHSD board" sign on his lawn. A Sweetwater employee went over there to remove the sign and got into it with the neighbor. The CHUTZPAH of those people....sin verguenza, shameless! They all need to be fired and replaced immediately, the board and the supe— June 7, 2013 10:58 a.m.
Sweetwater teachers await funding news
Brand is trying to create programs out of thin air, that's the magician in him. Always slight of hand, now you see it, now you don't.— May 26, 2013 1:51 p.m.

We need to replace the 3 board members that are coming up for re-election. We want community support and involvement. Please send your contact info to [email protected]— May 13, 2013 4:54 p.m.
Sweetwater school district to team with Alliant University?
We want to find good honest people to replace the 3 seats coming up for election. We want to get as many community members as possible involved with this process. The district is firing tons of Adult Ed/ROP teachers and support staff because Dr. Brand says there's no money to run these programs. If you are interested in getting involved please email us with your contact info to [email protected] Thanks!— May 13, 2013 4:35 p.m.

Montgomery Adult School’s last Viva Vida conference?
We need replacements in place to get the board members out. In order to save the Adult ed program we need a dedicated source of funding. Governor Brown wants to move adult education to the community colleges. If this happens all of SUHSD's adult programs will be closed. Please write to the politicians below to designate funding for adult education. Also please sign the petitions! Check out our YouTube video and join our facebook page.
