Update Little Falls 4/11/2010

Yes, this is certainly an intriguing twist of plot. I'm reminded of this excerpt from a December 2009 installment: "In the eighth day before Christmas, John was thinking of the future with Judy! A crow cawed, a blue-bird hopped from a tree and a chipmunk snatched an acorn. The weather has warmed to 14F which is a good sign that the future is warming up."

Tapped Out

Initially, one wonders what would motivate 3 out of 6 adults to risk this kind of trouble by agreeing to buy the alcohol for the minors. Subsequently, one suspects the 3 adults who got arrested were males and the 2 "minor decoys" were females.

Little Wonder

Wow, my Mystic River call-out, still getting people all huffy-puffy. I love it! "call me less than tolerant"? My dear Johann, I can think of better things to call you than that. But I would never call you an imbecile because we disagreed about a movie. When evaluating a movie or any other piece of art, there's no right or wrong answer. You liked Mystic River. I thought the movie's finer points were squandered by its mystery's cheesy solution, which was one step removed from aliens setting down in a UFO to take responsibility for the murder. Neither of us is right or wrong. Though it's quite likely I am more handsome. ;)

I'm just an amateur, but I'll still point out that your words in post #2 come off as much more vitriolic than humorous, at least from where I'm reading. "Newcomer" was based on you being a first-time contributor to the comments pages. Kinda hard for the rest of us to have any idea how long you've been reading Duncan Shepherd, ya know?
