L.A. Law, Cal Western style
Maybe it would "peak" Solomon 's interest to learn how to spell in English and to bone up on Chilean history (the significance of September 11 in that culture )before he fools around in Chilean courts of law as a public defender intern from Cal Western. You have to wonder at the value of such superficial and brief foreign study programs.— September 27, 2007 1:46 p.m.
Backstage Diplomat - He Removes the Brown M&Ms, plus Local Website Review: Karaoke Kings
the only part of this website i can find that has been updated recently is the song database - and that only tells you what karaoke disc you can find the song on. the rest of the website doesn't seem to have been updated since 2003 or 2004, as far as i can tell. pretty much useless if you want to find out where/when to go. :(— September 27, 2007 12:45 p.m.
San Diego Slowly Grasps Water Crisis
Wrong, wrong, wrong! This is typical liberal, control your life blather--force everybody to drink treated sewage because some big corporations, usually Bauder's bane, have lobbyied for super-huge engineering contracts to line their pockets with. Thank God for Jerry Sanders, at least he doesn't want to rule the world, and a basically honest man, no matter what Aguirre calls him.— September 27, 2007 11:44 a.m.
Sudden, Deep Slashes at U-T
What a bunch of geniuses...they brought this upon themselves with their republican-biased editorials from that little bow-tie wearing geek...I cancelled my subscription last year just because of their political views...so much for neutral journalism. Kittle and Sainz, there quite a pair - are we sure that's who we want feeding the sheeople?— September 26, 2007 11:48 a.m.
OJ Simpson, what else?

Chargers Aim To Leave
I think that if the Chargers want to leave San Diego, let them go. All they are doing is costing the city of San Diego a lot of money. But under no uncertain terms should the City of Chula Vista get stuck with them. It's bad enough we have the Coors Ampa Theater. Just drive down Main St./ Auto Park way and lookt at all the trash signs from Jammin' Z90...the scumbags should pick up their posters and advertizement.....I say good riddens to the Chargers!— September 24, 2007 10:11 p.m.
Chargers Aim To Leave
The Chargers want to remain something of a charity, some sort of entity that "WE THE PEOPLE(the poor, wretched, brainwashed, ill-informed huddled masses)" will steadily line its greedy fattened pockets(under the constant threat of leaving San Diego) until they inevitibably one day, ungratefully(with a smug smile), leave our fair city. The argument has been won that the Chargers have always been a charity(rather more like an albatross around the neck of San Diegans) a psuedo charitable cause which in reality subsidizes multi-millionaire businessmen and its tenticaled minions. These guys don't lose money. True, they lose games. But no, they won't open their books to show that they EVER lost money. The game is really about money. "Hey San Diego give us 60 acres of prime real estate to develop so we can win a few, lose a lot of football games." LOL!!!! We must be suckers in the critical mass(local government) of decisions that pertain to the Chargers, historically. It wasn't that long ago that the Chargers pledged to remain in San Diego until like 2020 or beyond if the taxpayers of the City improve the stadium(for tens of millions) and guarantee the ticket sales of their 1-15 team, for tens of millions more. Yeah 1-15, remember the year 2000? We have great fans, in the face of a statistically / historically weak football team. I seriously doubt Los Angeles wants anything to do with a loser like the Chargers, they learned their lesson with the disaster of Al Davis and his pathetic Raiders. They lost the Rams after 50 years and what happened to the Rams? They win a Super Bowl for another city. Does that make L.A. a bad city for not having a Football team. NO! Will that make San Diego a bad city for losing the Chargers for not subsidizing them ad infinitum? NO! We may or may not be able to support every team that does business, err, makes its home in America's Finest City. But if any team is a good team, and the ticket prices are "affordable" this city will support it. No matter whatever becomes of the Chargers fate in the long run won't matter one way or the other to me. I was born here, and I'm not moving. I'll be surfing year round, hiking in the mountains in the fall and spring, exploring the desert in the winter.— September 23, 2007 10 p.m.
