neighborhoods/mira-mesa -- Mira Mesa
Why are non-vehicles like boats and hitch trailers/campers allowed to be permanently parked on public streets? I've tried to work with SDPD and they say that they are short staffed. Why not let RSVP ticket these non-vehicles? Some have been parked in the same spot for 4-5 years in my area of MM. I've also asked for help from other agencies to no avail. Not only are these non-vehicles an eyesore that bring down property values even more, but they also take up parking spaces and, in some cases, obstruct traffic flow. If we were LJ, RB, SR, etc., you'd see immediate response and resolution to these violators. Public streets are not your personal parking space for trailers, boats, campers that are not vehicles.— November 6, 2013 7:05 p.m.
