A few years ago, as part of Friedman's last visit to San Diego, he made a guest appearance on Mojo's radio show to promote his appearance in town that rainy night. He's been at bookstores numerous times and has favored the crowd with a few songs at Esmeralda Books and Coffee, but you're right, he's always entertaining.— July 28, 2010 3:17 p.m.

(She's got cancer and plenty other problems.)— July 26, 2010 11:45 a.m.
Kerry Steigerwalt of Pacific Law Center says he was the “fall guy”
(#93) Cool idea, Gringo. The Beat Farmers used to do it; I don't see why the Reader couldn't.— July 25, 2010 8:15 p.m.
Lest We Forget: Pension Woes Worse Than Ever
Is a "fraudstir" someone who stirs fraud?— July 24, 2010 1:30 a.m.
Why Not?
Sounds very interesting. I wouldn't mind hearing it -- once, maybe. I know how ESP jazz can be.— July 21, 2010 1:36 p.m.
