(#110) Josh, you're indisputably right to pick up your dogs***, or your dog's dogs***, but cats are a whole 'nother animal. They clean up their own mess, so I don't think it's an issue. Say what you want about cats, but they do clean up their own crap. As for bringing Cotton or Benji or Bowser or whoever to the restaurant, I couldn't say for sure about patios, but dogs are most definitely prohibited from restaurant dining areas -- indoor areas for sure, and probably outdoors as well. The exception is for service dogs, although even they have rules they have to comply with -- e.g., their heads can't come above the height of the table.— October 29, 2009 2:16 a.m.

"I talked to Sundi multiple times. The first was when I called for directions and she screamed at me (Map Quest has them wrong)." Dude, there's no future in using MapQuest. From now on, try Rand-McNally.com (http://www.randmcnally.com/rmc/directions/dirGetD…). It's more accurate more often. Everyone I know seems to have a "MapQuest" story. Tam, please tell us finally what you're referring to or else admit a mistake; it's no big deal. It happens all the time around here. But unless you're incommunicado, this is starting to amount to playing games.— October 29, 2009 1:18 a.m.
Gypsies, Snacks, and “Steve”
Yeah, I think it was Bob Guccioni who said his grandma used to say that a good bowl of soup is closer to art than a bad painting. Use that line the next time they give you s*** about bogarting the hors d'oeuvre table.— October 28, 2009 10:06 p.m.

I bring this matter to the Reader's attention as contrary to their stated policy, that is extremely offensive. Further, there are two people here who claim to have been harassed by Mr. Board. As I said in my earlier post, if that's the way the Reader rolls, right on. No more to be said on the matter. By CuddleFish 9:02 p.m., Oct 28, 2009 ======================================== Fish, I don't know if you claim to be one of those two people, but if so, did you ever present your evidence (personal e-mail?) to the Reader management? Has anyone? If not, don't be surprised if nothing happens. I seriously doubt that the editor has the time to read every word on every page of this website.— October 28, 2009 9:29 p.m.

The Reader apparently thinks their readers want to read this sort of thing, and they may be correct. By CuddleFish 8:23 p.m., Oct 28, 2009 =============================================== Well, Fish, you apparently can't get enough of it. You prove Gringo's point.— October 28, 2009 9:02 p.m.

(#69) Thus sayeth Antigeekess: "Yeah, I know you can. You wrote it on purpose, specifically to bait ME, and you and I both know it. You may be able to BS everybody else in cyberspace about that, but since you've done disparaging blogs about several different groups which you know I'm a member of -- and done it repeatedly -- it's not like I don't know what you're up to. Currently, it's AGAIN the supposedly inferior intelligence of adoptees, because you know I am one." Am I the only person who thinks this sounds out-and-out paranoid?— October 28, 2009 8:28 p.m.

Tam, see #38. How about putting it right on the table, whatever this is you don't want to talk about, and let Josh admit it or deny it or plead ignorance.— October 28, 2009 6:48 p.m.

Tam, none of us know what you're referring to. Would you please explain?— October 28, 2009 5:55 p.m.
Bonus Blog: And The Same To You, Guv
I'd love for some mathematicians to calculate the probability of those letters just "accidentally" appearing the way they did. And I'd love for some reporter to ask the Gubernator, "Who do you really think believes that story?!?"— October 28, 2009 2:46 p.m.
