Tag — You're It
Since I'm guessing his parents won't be able to pay what the kid has cost property owners, how 'bout we make him work it off at minimum wage. Let him paint out graffiti at 7.25 an hour(or whatever minimum wage is now). That should give him a pretty good reality check of just how much damage he did. By my off-the-top-of-my-head math he owes us about 17,000 hours of work.— January 1, 2010 2:50 a.m.

He looks more like Long Duk Dong. "Ooh! Sexy Girlfriend!"— December 30, 2009 3:07 a.m.
The Bee Blog
I don't know if the guy will make News of the Weird, but I hope he wins a Darwin Award.— December 30, 2009 2:52 a.m.
The Predictable Pandora's Box is Opening
Pete I agree that most of what Hollywood puts out is crap for the idiots, and Ponzi I agree I hate the computer generated special effects that don't even look real, usually in a movie with plot holes big enough to drive a(computer annimated)truck through. This is neither. James Cameron is better than that. Look at the movies he's responsible for. Aliens. Terminator. The Abyss. Titanic. This guy is a perfectionist, and he makes good movies, and believe me, Avatar (despite it's story weaknesses) is like nothing you've experienced before. You have to see it in the theater.— December 28, 2009 1:54 a.m.
Stealing Christmas Gifts (where's McGruff the Crime Dog?)
I'm curious, in Europe are they really good about picking up after their dogs, or is there dog crap everywhere?— December 28, 2009 12:59 a.m.
A sad day in America...
Hey Pete, off-topic here but I saw this and thought of you. This is why SD is America's Finest City, and I wouldn't live in Wisconsin for six figures, but you probably think this is why it's great. http://i.imgur.com/kOLwE.jpg— December 26, 2009 7:26 p.m.
Unprepared Christmas Gifts
Maybe Santa just went on vacation to the Bahamas before Christmas, and he still had a good tan.— December 26, 2009 6:26 p.m.
Claim Jumper
I don't understand, first, how someone could take a spot that your girlfriend was holding. Did the car just nudge her out of the way? Doesn't make sense. Unless, of course, your girlfriend hadn't gotten there yet. If that's the case, it wasn't your spot. It was just a parking spot you spotted from far away. This story wasn't written well enough to explain the specifics of what actually happened in that spot. You also mention thanking the customer for the "nice gesture." That was a lot more than a "nice gesture." It was a bit over-the-top.— December 23, 2009 4:03 p.m.
The Brittany Murphy Debate
Time for a biology update, Josh. Your concern about her partying is justified(what she puts in her body while pregnant influences the development of the fetus), your concern about her genes isn't. If she's serving as a surrogate it's the genes of the mom and dad that make baby. Now the fact that dad is her brother, that you can be concerned about.— December 23, 2009 12:14 a.m.
New World Disorder
John, your bloviation is matched only by your pretentiousness. It's no wonder you admire Duncan so much.— December 22, 2009 1:54 a.m.
