Mutt Mixer
You're the one that wrote "Spaceman Spill". I assumed you couldn't read your own notes and took your f's for l's later. I don't know the band but I DO know Calvin and Hobbes.— September 18, 2009 2:55 a.m.
Mutt Mixer
Calvin was Spaceman Spiff.— September 17, 2009 5:03 p.m.
I Know That Dude
The phrase "your doggie just sits at home, all by himself" sounds like one of those phrases that means something else. She was probably trying to figure it out. I'm more interested in the chick who spent the weekend "in the dessert". I'd like to see those pictures!— September 11, 2009 3:38 p.m.

Can you count the song as one you know the words to, if you make up your own words for the parts you can't understand? "Some people call me Maurice, cuz' I sing of the pompatus of love".— September 9, 2009 9:46 p.m.
Unforgettable: When Sister Aimee Came to Town - Part 1
The power of snake oil salesmen to take advantage of the vulnerabilities of people never ceases to amaze me, and it never goes away. It also amazes me how the sight of people enjoying their lives in ways others don't approve of will inspire the most herculean efforts at saving those people from themselves. "The many evils…card parties, theaters,..... “dance halls, of girls and houses of sin.....gaiety, dancing, smoking, gambling, drinking." Sounds like a good time to me.— September 9, 2009 9:05 p.m.
Oldies (but goodies?)
It sounds like an Andy Rooneyism: "You know you're getting old when the music you listened to growing up now gets played on the oldies station".— September 7, 2009 5:56 a.m.
How would you prefer to die?
Did Kevin actually say he was afraid of being swallowed by a whale? Did he read Moby Dick then have a nightmare about it?Hilarious.— September 2, 2009 5:30 p.m.
Cops in Crosshairs
Surf as usual you make yourself look like an a$$clown with your anticop rhetoric. If they've got it so good (which they don't) why don't you become one. Oh, I know. Because you wouldn't last a week. Cops are the "thin blue line" between guys like Pete and the rest of us. Thank God for them. As much as I don't want to deal with them personally, I know enough history to know what life was like before the rule of law. If the worst thing we have to deal with is the occasional a**hole cop, we've got it GOOD.— September 2, 2009 3:23 p.m.
Mind the Cap
Pete: 1)Just because you don't like the messengers doesn't mean you can ignore the message. 2) You're kidding yourself if you think humanity can't do damage to the planet. Do some research. 3) Endangered species today are almost universally endangered because of our actions, mostly encroachment on their habitats. Instead of getting your environmental science philosophy from a comedian, try reading a little actual science.— September 2, 2009 3:12 p.m.
Kissing Cousins (errr, mothers) and Interracial Dating
Josh, maybe these people are so evolved they actually live in the "color-blind society" we all strive for. It actually didn't occur to them to tell her he was black. Maybe, but I doubt it. More likely they were trying so hard to be PC they didn't think they were allowed to mention it.— August 31, 2009 1:43 a.m.
