Why not variable pricing?
Waddaya think 3d is? Just an excuse to charge more.— June 29, 2013 11:55 p.m.
City Heights man waits for his father all his life
Mike your Dad was a selfish ass. He walked away from his responsibilities. But don't let that inhabit your whole life. Our relationships with our parents have profound effects on us. But as adults it's up to us to recognize those effects and master them, rather than letting them be our masters. And it doesn't excuse you from being a selfish ass with regard to your neighbors. Or anyone else who has to put up with that obnoxious bike. Thanks for sharing your story.— June 17, 2011 3:28 a.m.
Other People’s Children
Kevin, you and anyone who thinks like you are friggin idiots who make this society suck! The big problem with a free society is that everyone gets to do whatever they want, which means we all live at the mercy of the lowest common denominator. On the road, we all go as fast as the slowest car in front of us. At the movies, we enjoy the movie as much as the rudest viewer allows. And in restaurants, we're at the mercy of the parent who decided that, because THEY wanted to get out of the house, WE all get to listen to kids screaming and running around. I wouldn't go sit in the middle of the playground and expect quiet. But I don't think it's an unreasonable expectation in a restaurant or coffeeshop. But no. People's attitude is, "This is what I want to do, and while I don't wish to disturb you, TOO BAD because I'm going to do what I want. Once upon a time, politeness dictated that one behaved in public in such a way as to not disturb those around you. Now the rule is, let's see how much you can put up with.— May 4, 2011 1:47 p.m.
What's the biggest issue in America today?
Our biggest problem as a society is there are too many friggin idiots! Idiots care to comment?— May 4, 2011 1:28 p.m.
Who Is the Dreamer in Vista?
The headline should be "A Day In The Life Of A Bunch Of Losers".— March 11, 2011 7:11 p.m.

Pedaling Diego: San Diego's Growing Bicycle Mania
As a long time cyclist in San Diego, I agree we need motorists and cyclists to get along. My complaint with this article is that, although the author touches upon some interesting things (the price of bikes, dangers, and more) there should've been no positive ink given to Critical Mass. They've done more harm for cyclists, by creating anger among motorists. I wish the author would have asked the CM crowd why they do the dangerous and extremely stupid things they do (blocking intersections, running red lights, flipping off cars, slapping cars, all things I've seen first hand). They wouldn't have a good answer, but their attempts to justify those actions might have been revealing. Ride courteously, ride smart, and keep the streets safe and full of less frustration for everyone.— January 4, 2011 1:59 a.m.
David Elliott’s Declaration of Pleasure
So one "star" for a movie getting 91% on rotten tomatoes, comparing it derisively to Slundog Millionaire, perhaps the best movie of that year. Then a review for a movie 12 people are going to see. Graet job Reader - you exchanged one useless reviewer for another.— November 17, 2010 9:39 p.m.

Redefining My Birthday
I think your expectations for your birthday are too high. You're not the Queen of England. If your friends and family think of you on that day and wish you well, isn't that all you can hope for?— November 10, 2010 11:03 p.m.
