Dodgers Sold For $2.15 Billion

Actually, $1.1 billion will pay off debts. But the "value" of the team is what Forbes prognosticated, and that's what I usually take issue with. In other words, the Dodgers aren't worth $900 million because $1.1 billion of the $2 billion for the actual team was debt. My point is that a $2.15 billion dollar acquisition is just that, irrespective of what the cash is going to pay off after the sale.

I am also having my problems adjusting, Burwell. However, this direction is indeed in step with how most successful media websites are going. I think half of this is some tweaking that the Reader will likely do as time goes on, and the other half is us simply getting used to a somewhat different format and presentation. Newspapers and magazines have an opportunity to gradually evolve in their presentation which allows readers to "get used to" what the final presentation will be. Websites do not have that luxury so much. Website developers work on the final presentation offline, all sorts of code is written, embedded, and so on. Once the final product is approved, then that's usually the product that goes up. To do it a little at a time is often impossible. And even when it is possible, it is usually cost-prohibitive. But I sympathize, I'm fumbling around in here at times myself.

I don't insist on anything. I smoke. I think you should have the right to smoke. Or even use heroin. Doesn't matter to me a lick what people choose to do. It does bother me to live in a World where people are offered the lesser of two evils. That's politics, I can't understand why you aren't drawing that comparison. If you want to use snus, use it because you want to use it, not because it's safer than inhaling smoke. What is morally ideal is that we are honest with ourselves. Then, we can be honest with each other.
