Old People Behind the Wheel
Sorry Josh, I believe 65 is a good age to start mandatory yearly driving exams. So much can change for an older person from year to year. And if they're old enough to collect Social Security, then they're old enough to take themselves to the DMV every year so they don't kill anyone else thinking the brake is the gas....or vice-versa. But then again, the elderly might be like the teenagers and drive without licenses as well!! :-) Its a Catch-22 I tell ya...— December 28, 2007 6:08 a.m.
Juno and Hot Rod
Taking advice from friends about movies is like gambling. You should try this next time a friend of yours highly recommends a movie. Tell them to give you half the ticket price of the movie, you see it, tell them it stunk, keep their money. If you like it, refund the money your friend spotted you. If your friend doesn't like the idea, they'll stop pitching movies to you to go and see..... :-) It's worth a shot, right?— December 22, 2007 1:14 a.m.
Poor Parenting
16 is not 18....age of consent...let's string him up...;-)— December 22, 2007 1:05 a.m.
Cops in the News
Suicide by cop...nice trend we're starting....— December 22, 2007 1:02 a.m.
Neighbor Noise
I had a neighbor once that played the bass guitar. As you know, musicians are NOT 9-5 people. The problem was, the walls are thin. I know he could have played with headphones, but I shouldn't have to point that out after 11pm in an apt complex. So what did I do? I bought headphones and left it by his door. Suprisingly, he used them and took the hint....— December 22, 2007 12:42 a.m.
Da Bomb
Yeah, let's tie up the court system a little bit more with stupid lawsuits. Besides, what would you sue them for? Wrongful death? What law would Josh be breaking? Or would this just be another IDIOTIC civil suit b/c someone THINKS he should have evacuated...— December 10, 2007 11:54 p.m.
Charger Fans are Idiots
Yeah, I don't get the celebrations after a sack or really any of it. Should you be celebrating just doing your job and that's what you're getting paid millions for? Should we start doing these dances in the corporate world too when we have successes? As far as Caminiti, I think the roids were discovered AFTER he retired from baseball. And Tony? That's just classy not to be a "bat" or "icon" for hire. I think if he left, it would have tainted his image a little.— December 5, 2007 11:43 p.m.
Assault and Pepper Spray
She's from Puerto Rico....and she's kinda hot!! Guess that's why she won? Too bad there wasn't a butt glue incident....now THAT would have been good tv.... ;-)— November 28, 2007 12:56 p.m.
Trying to Watch TV
Je ne suis pas d'accord. Different voices, American idioms, etc. Nothing wrong with the French version, it's just different when all I know is the English version. :-)— November 25, 2007 1:56 p.m.
Trying to Watch TV
Love the soapbox....keep 'em coming!! You should try watching the Simpsons dubbed in French....just not the same thing.... ;-)— November 25, 2007 4:51 a.m.
