The Half Life of Love
I'm exhausted now; I think I need a nap. Very nice, nan. You're a true word-smith.— September 18, 2010 12:44 a.m.
A Day in September
"In spite of everything, I'm glad it turned out well (relatively speaking) for you, MsGrant. It was a difficult time for all of us, we Americans and our allies. But our lives and our spirits go on regardless of what evil places before us. Far be it from me to attempt to stifle religious freedom, but I don't believe, under the circumstances, a giant mosque/Islamic center, or even a regular sized one for that matter, should be erected within five miles of Ground Zero.— September 5, 2010 7:40 p.m.
A Day in September
Okay. I promise. And thanks again, nan.— September 4, 2010 1:38 p.m.
A Day in September
Thanks, nan. I didn't know that about Portland. By the way, my daughter didn't do the artwork. The picture is just one of many that New York children did. I think their teachers were trying to help them cope with the whole thing. We were living in Louisville, Kentucky for two years when it happened. Toward the end of September, at the local community center, the New York kids' artwork was featured in a nationwide display. Surprisingly, we were living in the "Portland" district in Louisville. Peace, nan.— September 3, 2010 4:15 p.m.
The Most Beautiful Squirrel in the World # 6
Thanks, MG and CF, and you're right, nan, it is hard to be beautiful in a lackluster world.— July 9, 2010 1:41 a.m.
The Most Beautiful Squirrel in the World
I love that Honey Badger dance at the end.— June 13, 2010 11:34 p.m.
The Most Beautiful Squirrel in the World # 2
Workers of the world unite, AG!— June 13, 2010 11:30 p.m.
The Most Beautiful Squirrel in the World # 2
Thanks, CF. Hey, what neighborhood is this posted in? I thought I put it in Poway, but I can't find it. D'oh!— June 13, 2010 6:23 p.m.
The Most Beautiful Squirrel in the World
Sorry, CF, I don't have any photos of him. But on YouTube there's a sad video of him that someone posted. I can't remember exactly what it's called, but put in "San Diego Zoo Bornean Prevost's Squirrel," and it'll come up. I posted a brief explanation about him which will tie into this whole story when it's finished. The Wild Animal Park is pretty good for animal lovers, but, as far as where you're allowed to walk, it's a lot smaller, and in the summer, the heat's unbearable. Pandas suck! Honey Badgers rule!— June 10, 2010 9:08 p.m.
The Doctor Is In
Dr. Peanut, you are insane, a real nut ... but insightful and funny.— May 23, 2010 10:38 p.m.
