Turkey Day!!!
Thanks, nan. I had a good holiday. I ate lots of turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes, mmm, mashed potatoes, hope you had a good Thanksgiving too. I can't wait for Christmas! My favorite time of the year ... except for spring ... and summer ... and most of autumn.— November 28, 2010 4:20 a.m.
during the dappled days
If the results are always so beautiful, I'll inspire you as much as possible. Thanks, nan.— November 5, 2010 10:38 p.m.
during the dappled days
Like a flute? No music is needed, nan. It's beautiful all by itself.— November 4, 2010 1:32 p.m.
Rite of Spring
She doesn't, MsGrant, but we both still think Donald Duck and his irrational temper are hilarious.— November 3, 2010 12:43 a.m.
Rite of Spring
Wonderfully said, nan. Thank you.— November 2, 2010 2:12 p.m.
None
In a word--brilliant.— October 8, 2010 1:21 p.m.
curling up
If I smoked, I'd light up a cigarette right now.— October 8, 2010 12:03 a.m.
Beneath the Lime Tree
Of course you were MsGrant, as would the rest of us who have brothers and/or sisters. And, nan, your kids should be more forgiving. Coconut chocolate macaroons can be served with tired, loving hands as well as made by them.— October 1, 2010 2:19 p.m.
Beneath the Lime Tree
That was a good one, MsGrant! Who knows what pushed your cat over the edge--maybe it was the ketchup! Moms can be cruel, but so can sisters. We just had a family reunion last weekend, and my mom, who is 65, brought up the time when she was two years old and her older sister, Poli, who is now 70, told her to stand on the red ant hill. "Go ahead, Kathy," Poli said, "just stand on the ant hill. They won't hurt you." Needless to say, they did hurt her. Quite a bit too.— October 1, 2010 1:14 p.m.
In The Company of Swans
oh, nan, you should have, you should have given in to fire, dust, and charcoal ash. lovely ...— September 27, 2010 10:48 p.m.
