Just Two Ordinary People
We're all quite silly, really, every one of us. I look back at my life and realize how absurd so many situations were--situations that could have easily been solved, forgotten, and tossed away if only I'd just laughed them all off. When it's finally all over, and I'm metaphysically forced to review my life, I'm really going to be embarrassed and ashamed of so many things.— September 18, 2011 12:32 a.m.
Another Autumn Snippet
... ah, J Lo asses swaying down the street ....— September 18, 2011 12:21 a.m.
Lynn's Autumn Snippets
Goes without saying, nan. To be honest, do you ever write bad lines?— September 18, 2011 12:16 a.m.
One More Missive to Myself
i wonder now when will i complete my last "Rescue Chore"? Never, that's when, nan. Because empathy is an inherent part of your character as it is in all good people. You could no more turn your back on someone you care about than you could walk away from an injured kitten. Face it, nan, it's in your nature to be nice and sympathetic.— September 13, 2011 10:46 p.m.
Lynn's Autumn Snippets
My favorite line is, "she had been born to be the bubbles in Champagne."— September 13, 2011 10:32 p.m.
What's Wrong with Me?
What kind of world would it be without weirdos and nonconformists like us? A boring one, that's what kind! Thanks for reading nan and Roody--the poet sisters.— September 12, 2011 12:47 p.m.
What's Wrong with Me?
From the mouth of babes.— September 11, 2011 6:03 p.m.
20 words that can't be translated..read them and weep!!
Ditto that, nan. I hope in the next life (if there is one) that I will have evolved into a better person.— September 11, 2011 2:33 p.m.
What's Wrong with Me?
Holy cow! A hundred and 90? That's amazing, nan.— September 11, 2011 2:25 p.m.
ICE
Within an hour after the electricity went out and the generator kicked on at work, the rumors started. By 5 o'clock, I'd heard that numerous power plants and structures throughout California had been destroyed by terrorists. It really doesn't take much to start the rumor mills working. A few hours later I was greatly relieved to learn that the power outage was caused by one clumsy maintenance worker. Then I could concentrate on the really important things, like ice.— September 11, 2011 12:57 p.m.
