dinosaur
Me too, except I thought it was going to be about real dinosaurs. But, still, I wasn't disappointed.— January 31, 2012 12:04 p.m.
Perpetual Secure — A Poem
Thanks, nan.— January 30, 2012 7:01 p.m.
Perpetual Secure — A Poem
Yeah, except I didn't wear plaid skirts or navy knee high socks--at least not in public.— January 30, 2012 1:52 p.m.
Indian Man — A Poem
Nice poem, Roody, Full of innuendos. I often forget I'm half Indian. My mom's white and my parents were divorced before I was two. My mom remarried, and I've got three white brothers. I've been saturated with white culture (which I love) my whole life, and I have no idea how to behave like a real Indian. I'm what the reservation Indians call an apple Indian: red on the outside and white on the inside, or my personal favorite (I'm not being sarcastic, I really like this description--it's hilarious), an Uncle Tomahawk. H'yuk!— January 30, 2012 12:41 p.m.
Perpetual Secure — A Poem
The first ten lines sounded like my old neighborhood.— January 30, 2012 12:27 p.m.
Thou Ever Changed Chameleon
Burns is great. "O my Luve's like a red, red rose That’s newly sprung in June ..." well, you know the rest.— January 30, 2012 12:21 p.m.
Thou Ever Changed Chameleon
I love Shakespeare, even though I find him very difficult to read and comprehend. All those confusing "wheretos" and "art thous." I try to force myself to read him because it's literature and there are so many beautiful passages in his plays, but it's hard work, and I simply can't read them for pleasure.— January 30, 2012 12:31 a.m.
Fling
Tread carefully. San Diego can be unfaithful.— January 29, 2012 8:24 p.m.
Baggage Claim — A Short Story
"The Giantess," now that's some poetry I can get behind, or under.— January 29, 2012 1:41 p.m.
Being
Now I'm forced to think about "being." Oh, well, I've got some time to kill--like the rest of my life.— January 29, 2012 1:30 p.m.
