New York City, Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. Home to the 1964 World's Fair. The fair's Unisphere and Louis Armstrong Stadium remain alongside the newer Billie Jean King National Tennis Center's Arthur Ashe Stadium. The giant steel globe has become the symbol for the NYC borough of Queens and one of the largest globes ever made (140 ft high, 120 ft in diameter, 900,000 lbs) and it's original dedication was "Peace Through Understannding".
