Fallbrook’s Shrinking Avocado
so sad...going the way of the orange groves i had an aunt and uncle who had a large avocado orchard in Fallbrook in the day...my sister and i used to play hide and seek under the trees in the leaves good plan about the grey water Ruth...orange and avocado trees use to line the highway from San Diego to Orange county north...and to the Laguna's east i miss those days of a mainly agricultural county http://sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2012/jun/1… vegetable truck farms were all that existed on the Otay Mesa back then...how things have change!!— June 14, 2012 5:32 p.m.

The White Horse is Dead
just beautiful Tenor...interesting the heart disease...runners often (if they die young) die of heart disease in the 70's i worked 4 a group of docs that ran..one very seriously...at that time they thought running would completely stop every kind of health problem...obesity...heart problems due to high cholesterol....no thought was given to the joint tendon and muscle damage that would occur Jim Fixx whose books started the running craze died at 52 of a heart attack...right after a run that opened some eyes that runners high is hard to resist...but unrealistic thinking about the health benefits is unwise— June 14, 2012 8:16 a.m.
