La Jolla Shores neighbors propose gating new development, worry about drainage
Perhaps I failed to make it clear: It wasn't the developer's idea to put a gate on it, it was the neighbors who suggested, then urged putting a gate there. What made the house proposal interesting was that there is no guarantee that the houses shown in the renderings would be built as drawn. The lots are for sale, not the finished houses.
