A Long Weekend in Sequoia and Yosemite
A great way to see the Sequoia's is to go to Visalia, the gateway to the Sequoia's, and take the Sequoia Shuttle in to the National Park. For just $15 roundtrip, which includes the park entrance fee, it's a great way to enjoy the scenery and your party on the way up, and enjoy the activities (especially the food!) in this City of 127,000. There is a great connecting Shuttle inside the Park that is free that will take you to the key spots like Moro Rock, The General Sherman Tree, Crescent Meadow, etc. Great way to get more hikes in.....hike one way and then take the Shuttle to another trailhead. Plus, it creates less congestion in the National Park. If you've ever enjoyed the serenity the Shuttles in Zion provide, you'll totally understand the shuttles in the Sequoias.
