Audit Finds San Diego School Inspectors Filed False Reports, Absent from Sites

www.tinyurl.com/20110411 The Port of San Diego, CCDC, the City of San Diego, and the California Coastal Commission have been lax in enforcement of California Seismic laws in San Diego County in General. According to Judge Ronald Prager, the State Seismic Hazard Mapping Act and laws do not apply to any project or construction site in San Diego County, because the digital State of California Geological Survey maps stopped being published at the Orange County and Riverside County lines. www.tinyurl.com/20110413 In addition, the City of San Diego has the worst public infrastructure in the nation due to their ignoring the effects of liquefaction and active fault surface ruptures along transportation corridors and life line utilities. The solutions are easy. But no one in San Diego is enforcing the laws. Least of all District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis.

Port Commissioner/Former City Councilman Scott Peters Announces Congressional Run

As Council President Scott Peters treated many regular Non-Agenda Public Comment speakers with distain. He was mean and arrogant even to the most selfless persons, homeless, and people looking for help and justice. Just watch the City Council videos online when he was Council President and chaired all City Council meetings for years. http://granicus.sandiego.gov/ViewPublisher.php?vi… Our new Council President Tony Young makes it clear that all are welcomed downtown, and actually shows respect for the speakers. Scott Peters is the reason why the Navy plans to build their West Coast Headquarters on an assumed Active Fault of the Rose Canyon Fault Zone (RCFZ) adjacent Port of San Diego Tidelands. The Navy's hearing on their Environmental Consistency Determination will be heard at the November 2, 2011 Coastal Commission hearing in Oceanside. If San Diego votes for Peters instead of Democrat and independent-minded Lori Saldana, we are doomed to failure and deserve the government we elect. https://www.facebook.com/#!/lori.saldana http://www.blogofsandiego.com/Waterfront.htm

Public Defender Coker Endorses D.A. Dumanis’s Mayoral Run

Hopefully a complaint will be filed against both Dumanis and her Public Defender Henry Coker. Dumanis was a judge, knows the law, and selectively fails to enforce laws she wants to ignore. http://tinyurl.com/20081017a Please see the highlighted section of the first page in the Complaint of Possible Prohibited Political Activity (Violation of the Hatch Act). "State and Local Employees are prohibited from*: 1. Using their official authority to influence for the purpose of interfering with or affecting the result of an election or a nomination for office."

Public Defender Coker Endorses D.A. Dumanis’s Mayoral Run

http://tinyurl.com/20081017a Please see the link above to our 2008 complaint again Police Chief Lansdowne. The US Office of Special Counsel conducted the investigation for Federal Hatch Act violations. http://www.osc.gov/haFilingComplaint.htm Anyone can file a claim online for free. Yes the Hatch Act is a Federal law for Federal employees. However local and State employees are subject to follow the same Federal law if they receive money from the Federal government. Since San Diego gets Federal funds into the County of San Diego for law enforcement and Homeland Security, the County of San Diego has implied it is following the Federal Hatch Act with its own employees. In theory, the County of San Diego has a choice of either giving back their Federal funding, or somehow discipline the employees to make it clear that non-elected government officials cannot use the power of their appointed office to campaign in an election. Fines may also be imposed on the law breakers.

San Diego's he-man Jerry Schad – the rougher it gets, the better he likes it

http://signon.org/sign/name-the-coast-to-crest.fb…. "Name the Coast to Crest Trail to honor Jerry Schad By Robert Parkinson (Contact) To be delivered to: San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy and San Dieguito River Park The Coast to Crest Trail shall be titled The Jerry Schad Trail. I've had the pleasure of hiking many trails I never would known existed if not for his Afoot and Afield books and numerous Roam-A-Rama articles in the San Diego Reader. Who else has had more of an impact in guiding hikers to the magnificent trails this area has to offer, or the value of preserving our remaining undeveloped open space than Jerry Schad? The 55 mile Coast to Crest Trail will follow the entire length of San Dieguito River from Volcan Mt. to Del Mar upon it's completion and would be a fitting tribute to his contributions."
