Ummm, is it just me or does this story seem less like a blog and more like an,,,,article? I'm finding that are several really interesting and unique writers that hang around here on the Latest Community Entries Highway. This is not one of them. — June 14, 2012 3:01 p.m.
Not my First, Not my Last, and Not my Everything
I totally agree with my friend nan. I enjoy the fact that it's not only an interesting read but an 'easy' read. By that I mean, that the words flowed almost behind the scenes so that one could just concentrate on the story itself ( if that makes any sense). In any case, I really enjoyed the tale. Thanks— July 2, 2012 8:18 a.m.
Drone Makers Want to Sell to Foreigners
Well of course they do!!! It's totally silly to think that defense contractors are designing even one tiny microcircuit for anything resembling patriotic reasons or any other reason except to turn a profit. Of course they want to sell to foreigners. Every rifle, round or RPG that the Taliban possesses was not made specifically for them. Weapons are made and weapons are sold ( and then sold again). Defense Contractors would sell to Taiwan if they could get away with it. Oh wait, we already do . Never mind.— July 2, 2012 7:43 a.m.

July 4th--America's Day In The Sun!
Very nice independent thought on independence. I'm certainly not a history major but it's cool to take a look at the Declaration Of Independence from time to time and read all the reasons we wanted to break away from England. I also was always impressed how the signers became ( in the eyes of a King across the pond) tyrants and traitors once they put their 'John Hancocks' on the document and were embracing a 'criminal act' punishable by hanging or firing squad. Ahhh, to believe in a new path that much!!!! Anyway, very nice story,,,,— July 2, 2012 7:25 a.m.
Fallbrook’s Shrinking Avocado
I wonder the difficulty in transporting the grey water from the source to a reclamation facility and then to our local farms? I'm glad someone is at least thinking about and offering solutions to just what alternatives are out there. It was a good read.— June 14, 2012 5:39 p.m.

Fallbrook’s Shrinking Avocado
Great article!! It's too bad that agriculture and the county can't get together and work out some kind of mutually benefical solution. Good info there!!— June 14, 2012 4:32 p.m.

How Facebook Can Cost You a Job
*Emphasis*http://sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2012/jun/13/26209/ Ummm, was this a story written by one of our, rather clever, local blogfolk? Or was it really more of an "article" that Lennox Organic Chemistry decided we should turn our attention to? These were my thoughts as I trudged through the article and near the end found this: This blog article was brought to you FREE by Lennox Organic Chemistry & MCAT Tutoring of San Diego, where “Total Comprehension = Key to Success”™.". I think, for me, that the "article" is less about Facebook and more about why an organic chemistry company would be shoving their articles in my face while wearing a bloggers trenchcoat. We Baby Boomers are All That- are we?
Not that it really matters, but the song Mr. Dylan was spitting out is actually "Senor" not "Senior". The irony there was amusing and so, worth mentioning— June 13, 2012 7:45 a.m.
