Big money fails to save San Diego convention center tax hike
What took out the simple game of dodge-ball?— March 6, 2020 2:53 p.m.
El Cajon's Jimmie Johnson hangs it up
San Diego County has been a ball-headed sports center for too long. This county needs some change; seems the only(version of) change to make it here -- is the immigration from multiple international countries.— March 5, 2020 8:45 p.m.
San Diego's fragile ethics commission
It will be interesting to monitor how the "ethics" will remain in the '50th District', after the voting results.— March 4, 2020 3:46 p.m.
Where pollution is worst in San Diego
Admit it: car-driving is an extreme addiction. In San Diego county, the public transit is assigned to be segregated for the disabled & those with criminal records. This is a perfect example in how pre-judgmental San Diego county is. Owning/driving a car is a form of STATUS.— March 3, 2020 9:14 p.m.
Palomar, SDSU, City College – which one for future DJs?
Wanna bring back the time of Chuck Mangione? I still remember of the 1st cassette I had of him.— March 3, 2020 9:03 p.m.
Palomar, SDSU, City College – which one for future DJs?
Why/How expect "a Matt Potter type report" from KPBS? (no sic): before I opened up this KPBS report,I saw 1 of the tv news media stations showing that the amount of N-P voters been increasing; I only bring that coincidence in this chat for the reason that SDR is reputed by many as the most neutral media source in San Diego. But I did not expect in what I saw on the tv screen, to what I said above.— March 3, 2020 7:05 p.m.
Carlsbad Village Coins evicted from State Street
Does the news have to do with elections, that are to prioritize?— March 3, 2020 1:57 p.m.
El Cajon's Jimmie Johnson hangs it up
There are plenty of old-school Padres, Chargers, & Clippers fans here. But this was a time when San Diego was not involved in car racing: location of race tracks nor where drivers live at. For car racing -- I would choose myself of such time back -- with the timeline of Richard Petty, Bobby Allison, etc. The timeline when really no-one in San Diego county like car racing; the time before the county grew so much of. Still, this county never went as far as lay-out a permanent car race track; overall --- the most achieved was the "Del Mar GP." (but not as far as a 6 hour race, or higher) In the earlier time, I remember when Carlsbad had its 'motocross' annually. I remember the great road racing cyclist of Kenny Roberts.— March 2, 2020 3:12 p.m.
Behind the San Diego Democrats' vote against Measure A
?Is this a disclaimer, to something?— March 1, 2020 6:36 p.m.
The Great Behest: favor seekers line up to tithe for San Diego lawmakers
If Kevin had to "cough up" a fine, that went by the timeline on how long it took him to recall his memory (every second counts): I say this as a repeat issue of Kevin, when being asked questions, on semi-controversial topics at the least. This happens much --- when there is no controversial environment where he is interviewed/speaking; just a typical, quiet environment. I say this as he is contrasting to others, such as Gloria -- whom I will use as an example. There are the other names, to add.— March 1, 2020 3:43 p.m.
