Cardiff train track safety barriers replaced
There is a LEGIT call to an f.d. within another North County (san diego) city, that these railroad tracks go through: in which a car got 'tangled' into the railroad tracks. Hence the driving side or inner side (of the vehicle's) 2 wheels got tangled into the tracks, as the car drove over that tracks. In its attempt to completely cross/drive over the railroad tracks; but was unsuccessful to it. As the driver tried to self-cure the issue by un-tangling from the railroad tracks, but was un-successful at it. In which (someone's call to) the fire department was the AID to this. This was the help of a civilian; Way Before The Time Of The NCTD COASTER came into existence; add before the tech time of cell-phones.— August 19, 2020 5:54 p.m.
High rises around the Midway area's Sports Arena?
"Tork" (last name of personal injury atty mentioned in this article of Sports Arena) is a very unique and rare name. Even names.org which claims its link will give the meaning to the name, not shows "the meaning" to that 'last name.' The only value that remain in an internet search, I ALREADY KNEW TO MYSELF: Peter Tork, of the (rock n' roll) MONKEES -- Back from The 1960s.— August 19, 2020 2:57 p.m.
San Diego immigrants sound off on race
The better times were in the past, before smuggling, drugs, etc. --- of old-school immigrants who worked hard to start a legal, tax-paying business here. PROUDLY Registered as Legal U.S. Voters. Those who opened the (general) chat to U.S. citizens, in open society. Those immigrants learning further language, further customs/traits, etc --- from those (at then generous) U.S. citizens. Those times are far gone.— August 19, 2020 1:04 p.m.
San Diego immigrants sound off on race
(as this generally speaks to non-immigration): The trouble with today's generations, and the generation before it: is they do not admit to their DOUBLE-STANDARDS. These generations want 'freedom of speech', but do not believe in the other to give their 'freedom of speech. Hence, the current generations are completely 1-sided.; just like politicos. For ongoing generations, an still goes on, San Diego county is a narcissistic society; in multiple perspectives.— August 19, 2020 12:58 p.m.
El Cajon zones for tiny houses
I don't know why one of the selected developers here in San Diego County -- chose to not reserve it title of development known as "Rolling Hills" for homes like in this article to come.— August 19, 2020 12:18 p.m.
How to make Hillcrest and El Cajon Blvd. mad
I remember those decades ago: so far fewer DMV's within the county; as lesser traffic/population. Motorists were driving miles by the DOZENS, so to arrive at the closest DMV. Oceanside for the north; wasn't it Hillcrest for the south?— August 19, 2020 12:13 p.m.
Imagine a pedestrian-friendly Kearny Mesa
I'll give you the NAME, of a business IN THAT MAP AREA -- a signal to the beginning of time, to when the ERA of electronics was to take over the mindsets of society: remember of GENCOM? The selection of pagers & beepers.— August 18, 2020 3:19 p.m.
Imagine a pedestrian-friendly Kearny Mesa
Happy about that or not? Happy (accept in the years) about the 'tech' of what you were born in, or not?— August 18, 2020 3:14 p.m.
Will paper straws factor in Encinitas mayor's race?
Were you possibly within the long-ago generation --- that ate specifically at McDonalds -- at the time where there the several DISPENSERS for STRAWS? In which anyone had access to pull away as many (red/yellow, on white) plastic straws as anyone wanted. There were those customers who would drink with multiple straws; 2 or 3 straws (poked through the cup lid) at one time.— August 18, 2020 7:22 a.m.
