More Questions for the United Way in Their Involvement in CCDC Sponsored "Registry Week"
as for your comment that they are not building new housing. You are really uninformed. how about this 70 million dollar boondoggle being built downtown. http://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/local/New-Homeles… do your research and look at the money. You are supposed to be a reporter.— November 27, 2011 7:33 p.m.

Kelly, you are the 1 that needs to research. You dont even know that these projects w/ the city for the most part organized as delaware Corporations. delaware corps are legal means of money laundering. Even if some money may go to section 8, you KNOW alot of this money is going to build new housing. Even if nothing is on the books now, it soon will be. yes people are getting rich. LeSar should have never been paid half a mill to do a job the housing commission is paid to do. You need to do better research. You are losing all credibility. Watch the video from Catherine Austin Fitts. I suspect she knows alot more than you do.— November 27, 2011 7:30 p.m.
Maienschein Paid $106,270 As Homeless Commissioner
someone should really really really audit the delaware LLcs that these projects are organized as as in look into Toni Atkins and LeSars personal finances. I bet you will find these benefactors are stashing millions in offshore accounts the way ADI developers did in los Angeles.— November 23, 2011 9:47 p.m.

Yes Toni Atkins and wife Jennifer LeSar make millions solving homelessness. This is about 1 thing money and development. How about programs for rental assistance instead? I just logged on to see about rental assistance because I have 0$ in income and no savings. the wait list for section 8 rental assistance is 5-8 years! Why because it doent make the developers rich. Consider that a brand new airstream is $50,000 why not take a plot of city owned land and set up a community of airstreams? it would facilitate community and be much more empowering than wharehousing them in depressing slums. You guys should look closer at this. I wrote a blog about The United way and how their participation in this development stuff is highly suspect.— November 23, 2011 9:45 p.m.

yes now that the housing market has crashed developers suddenly care about the homeless. Hmmm I wonder why? maybe because each homeless person is worth about $500,000 to them? Ive been saying for a while this was coming a sudden caring about the poor...its really a caring about developers and ensuring they still have obscene profits.— November 23, 2011 9:43 p.m.
ACE Parking, SDPD and my Nightmare from Hell
Nan, I always like your comments. Its true we should all be carrying a tiny adorable dog with us at all times to counter intense situations. I'm certain I wasnt being adorable. And I agree that in a smaller community this wouldnt happen. There is a very odd and angry energy about San Diego and I keep hoping it will change. I spend alot of time in Napa, Ca and I notice the energy is dramatically different. People are so much nicer everywhere you go. There is a level of respect that takes precedence over getting money out of people. Perhaps it is all the defense contractors and the corruption that breeds an energy of distrust and frustration everywhere you go here. Just look at whats going on w/ the Coronado murder case...its the perfect example of what is wrong w/ this city. There is an air of arrogance by the cops, politicians and the big businesses like ACE that feel they own the city and can do anything they want. I still havent given up hope. there are some really great neighborhoods like south park that the rest of SD should emulate.— October 1, 2011 4 p.m.
ACE Parking, SDPD and my Nightmare from Hell
Donnie, I think you might be the one with the "bitchy" "entitled" attitude. I agree w/ whoever posted I should ride my bike to the gym and everywhere for that matter. I dont take offense to anyone telling me my car is a problem in this world, it is. And if you cant see the problem w/ handing these guys all your personal info I dont know what to tell you. Do I really need ACE Parking to have my address and phone number and drivers license number in their files? Should I have turned over my social security card and all my medical records as well? I even compromised w/ them and showed them my insurance which showed my name and that I was the owner of the vehicle and they still would not allow me to go and that is an important detail of the story I forgot to mention and I will add it now.— October 1, 2011 3:50 p.m.
ACE Parking, SDPD and my Nightmare from Hell
I think the fact that you called me "bitchy" right out of the gate when you had absolutely no proof of that made me defensive. And the part where you are saying "I "let" the situation get to this point" is utter BS. I dont play the victim card in life but this was a case of complete harrassment and abuse and I want people to know about it. "I" didnt do anything at ALL>— September 30, 2011 11:55 p.m.
ACE Parking, SDPD and my Nightmare from Hell
I dont buy it. I told them I went to 24 hr and specifically asked if I could go up and get something stamped and they said "no way". If you wanna talk about the bitchy attitude it was the attitude of the attendants. Furthermore, even if I was "bitchy" as you assume, it does NOT matter. Being bitchy is not a crime and is not probable cause to demand to see license and reg and I was NOT bitchy to the cops in the least. Sure I was frustrated that I was being held hostage and I told them how I felt about it but anyone would be pissed that was being held hostage.— September 30, 2011 11:52 p.m.
ACE Parking, SDPD and my Nightmare from Hell
In fact, the fact that you have a total of 1 comments in the SD Reader and you felt compelled to sign up and comment on THIS blog suggests to me that you have a vested interest either in ACE or the SDPD. Neither would surprise me. They are both the meanest nastiest and most entitled group of people in SD. as for entitlement...how about ACE being "entitled" to demand my license and registration? I dont think Im the entitled 1 here.— September 30, 2011 11:32 p.m.
