Why do we keep building in Mission Valley?
Not to nitpick, but the flood was in 1966. The only reason I know this is because the last trip to Europe my wife and I took before her illness made it too difficult to travel was in 2006. We were in Italy for a while and spent some time in my wife's favorite city there, Florence. Preparations were underway for a remembrance on the 40th anniversary of the food, the day of which happens to be in between my and my wife's birthdays. If somebody had asked me what the odds were that I would ever have occasion to comment anywhere about a flood in a church 50 + years ago in a city in Italy that my wife and I visited a few times, I would have said about a gazillion to 1. Go figure. Maybe I should play the lotto on Saturday.— January 10, 2019 9:15 p.m.

Drones in Mexico: Gringos need not apply
So let me ask you this. Since it wasn't a bird strike, then if it wasn't a drone, what do you think it could have been?? FYI, if it was a drone and was purchased in the US, the max allowable weight is 55 pounds before you need a special traditional aircraft license. If it was of Mexican origins, even a micro weight drone can weigh up to 2kg and a small one up to 25kg. That is a lot more than a few ounces. I have one with a video set up and it weighs about 22 pounds.— December 20, 2018 12:19 p.m.
Can't get the homeless out of Fox Canyon
I have had plenty of experience with those you call "human trash" .Managing a retail location, I dealt with them every day. I dealt with the trash, the feces, the urine; I have dealt with all of it. And that includes, on 2 occasions, upon opening the back door for early morning deliveries, finding someone who had died there overnight. As to your desire to see people die just so you don't have to see them or deal with them in any way, shape or form I suppose it is possible, at your advanced age and with the increasing impotence and declination of your mental acuity, your are simply no longer able to I understand the magnitude of the stupidity in your statements. But with that said, I go back to my previous statement: You are a f*cking a$$hole and can FOAD!!— December 8, 2018 10 a.m.
Public integrity league shuts down
A pretty smart guy once said that there are two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity. And as far as I am concerned, freedom of speech doesn't give anyone a free ride from the consequences of saying stupid sh!t.— December 8, 2018 9:40 a.m.
Public integrity league shuts down
You know, some of your own words of wisdom come to mind: Sometimes you just can't fix stupid.— December 7, 2018 7:10 a.m.
Liberty Station quietly sold for $71 million
Yeah, you know, when I write something to the effect of "someone can correct me if I'm wrong", that means that I actually know what I am writing is correct.— December 7, 2018 7:05 a.m.
