Faulconer brings visual aids to White House meeting with President Trump
WOW. That is a pretty long diatribe for for an article that is pure sarcasm. One can only imagine what you could write if it were an actual news article.— July 1, 2019 10:50 a.m.
Woodstock: Three Days That Defined a Generation
Or maybe the Director's Cut or perhaps even the expanded 40th Anniversary Edition. Me, I'll just settle for one of the 1,969 copies of the 38-disc, 432-song 50th anniversary CD box set, all $800.00 worth, which, btw, I pre-ordered as soon as Rhino had their site up for it.— June 13, 2019 5:25 p.m.
Susan Davis returns to the trough – in Israel
I'll oversimplify it for you. In the UC system, the heads of the individual schools are called chancellors and the head of the entire system in called the president, in this case being Janet Napolitano. In the Cal State system, it is just the opposite. The head of the system is the chancellor and the heads of the schools are presidents. Visduh is exactly right. The chancellors in the UC system and the presidents in the Cal State system do indeed function as CEOs of their respective schools. Are you actually suggesting that the colleges in the UC system don't need someone in charge? Or maybe it could be that you simply have no idea what you are talking about? BTW, I have diplomas from schools in both systems, so I do know a little of what I am talking about.— April 12, 2019 9:24 p.m.
Modern Muirlands masterpiece titled in investment company controlled by founders of Luna Grill
Ya know, as a little kid, my parents used to take me into the kiddie pool when we we went to see my grandparents at their trailer park. And later, the pit up an above ground pool to beat the heat in the Arizona summers. Never had a problem with mosquitos "thriving" around the pool. I think probably anyone whose ever been around a properly maintained pool would know that.— April 12, 2019 9:02 p.m.
Modern Muirlands masterpiece titled in investment company controlled by founders of Luna Grill
Not from the pool. The proper use of swimming pool grade chemicals and good management of the disinfection, filtration and re-circulation system will prevent that from happening.— April 12, 2019 9:43 a.m.
Union-Tribune online numbers plunge 22.44 percent
So exactly how is it that he is corrupt?? And since he paid about a half a billion, and took over about $100 million in debt, for the LAT and the SDUT, how is he any more greedy than anyone else who has owned the UT.— March 23, 2019 10:24 a.m.
Union-Tribune online numbers plunge 22.44 percent
It has been a while, but the last time I picked up a Sunday UT, I think it was at least $2.50. I know the LA Times is $2.75, so I would imagine the UT is about the same. I understand that rates have gone up in recent years, but when was it that you paid $7.92 for 12 weeks? And when you are paying about $1.56 a week for a Sunday paper, delivered, it is still a least a buck cheaper than going out and buying one.— March 23, 2019 10:19 a.m.
KFMB's Elisabeth Kimmel caught in Georgetown admission bribe
Snoop's kid was a legit player. I believe he was considered a 4star recruit and something like a top 25 WR in his recruiting class. Diidy's kid was ok, but he got in because of who his father is. That came straight from the coach's mouth.— March 17, 2019 7:33 p.m.
KFMB's Elisabeth Kimmel caught in Georgetown admission bribe
Snoop's kid got a full ride to play football but never did and I don't believe he stayed in school. Justin Combs also got a full ride to play football, ended up getting kicked off the team but did graduate with a bachelors degree in sociology.— March 15, 2019 9:33 a.m.
Risks rise as San Diego's painted curbs fade
And yet, in your comment, the one I replied to you said: "It is beyond fathomable, in the so called Information Age, a city the size of San Diego has no up-to-date geo-database detailing it street use. Has no maintenance database or plan to maintain its assets." So why did you say it if you know otherwise?? And again to my reply, even if they have the "database", I would find it totally believable if it is not being utilized. I moved to San Diego in 1976. In terms of government, not a lot, if anything, has improved since then.— February 19, 2019 12:01 p.m.
