New sewer lines or new stadium fro San Diego? Your choice.
I don't like the theme that nobody knows how this happened and/or how to correct it. The city can't pay all its' bills and decided to cut infrastructure and the move has been so successful that I doubt that they every will fix the infrastructure until we declare bankruptcy. Did L.A. follow or lead.— January 14, 2015 5:32 p.m.
Horse die-offs and high roller dearth cut Del Mar take
Summer meeting passes: The expected date for the lab test results of the drug test of those thoroughbred racers that collapsed AND DIED so suddenly that their jockey or exercise riders were tossed is Super Bowl Sunday. This gives Joe Harper a chance to send the lab tech a thanksgiving turkey and Christmas gifts without raising any concern from the UT turf staff. As noted in the UT, the recent Bing Crosby fall meet passes and all thoroughbred racers returned safely to their stalls but that same proven safe dirt course is being dug- out and replaced with a new surface. This creates a dilemma for the UT staff that only a turkey could resolve.— December 16, 2014 1:59 p.m.
San Diego’s most polluted areas
The area around Washington St. and Pacific coast highway which has the big three: old trash, a MTS plastic bus bench that people press on the back of and take a piss and the roads are so warp that they look like they were from the set of 'clockwork orange'— November 20, 2014 12:26 p.m.
Meanwhile, in San Ysidro's pedestrian line...
Beggars-no bathrooms-peasants selling a fifty yard bus ride to the border for $10-confusion..Mexico motto: treat every visitor like they will never be back and get as much money as possible from them.— November 20, 2014 12:17 p.m.
Get down on the trolley
Three stabbings on the MTS trolley system. In each cases the stabber had to enter the trolley station which has security cameras, do the stabbing inside the trolley car which has its' own security cameras and finally exit A trolley station after the stabbing which has another set of cameras, yet, no mug shot of the stabber has been posted on tv. No one has been apprehended for three video assaults.— November 12, 2014 10:27 a.m.

Welfare cheaters
If a person is homeless and qualifies for food stamps that person should be allowed to purchase cook meals because that person has no frig or stove. I was aware of the fraud you mention & detailed above but fraud in article has: 13 so-called family-resource centers-----------------. One of the centers “has the safe open all day .................................— August 29, 2014 9:17 a.m.
Happy horses
8-28-14-----Cause Im a Bigshot, a 3-year-old filly, became the 16th fatality at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club meet when she collapsed and died Thursday morning---8 other horses have left the course mangled— August 29, 2014 9:08 a.m.
Welfare cheaters
I'm lost? Could someone explain? a multi-million-dollar federally funded program called CalFresh allows homeless senior citizens over 60 to use the cards for meals at participating restaurants. ..............................................The cards are handed out by 13 so-called family-resource centers that auditors say need to tighten their security. One of the centers “has the safe open all day until the last client is served,” and none have an “approval process for vault combination reset.” the picture above the story is a vault door so I guess what is a vault combination reset?— August 28, 2014 10:41 a.m.
What does Tijuana want?
TJ-Mexico doesn't treat their customers crossing back to USA professionally. Probably has cost city billions in tax revenue. Under-age drinkers-Americans looking for cheap prescriptions, Soldiers' looking for whores seem not to mine— August 27, 2014 12:53 p.m.
