No pretty girls at happy hour. Better and cheaper to shop sprouts or whole foods. Happy hour joints the staff and menu make it hard to find special. One joint just micro waved the special and ,thus, the plate and special were electric hot.— April 15, 2015 12:28 p.m.

More filter than 'stache
Pour over coffee from Starbucks always seems thin-no punch-maybe I should request a pour over using a different phrase. Yesterday, I liked my first morning cup from the three Starbuck's taps but when I come back that afternoon only Pikes Place was on tap or to pour over the brew I liked that morning e.g. Sumatra This morning I was rushing to Starbuck's in Mission Hills when I spotted two homeless chaps at the front door .I veered to another tap in Hillcrest.— March 18, 2015 1:46 p.m.
Fabiani grills Faulconer on conflicts of interest
good latimes article On Monday, the Chargers’ special counsel Mark Fabiani reminded a committee recently appointed by the mayor that the team has spent 14 frustrating years and $15 million developing stadium proposals that flopped amid a lack of political support from City Hall. He suggested that the Chargers ownership suspects that the mayor’s committee will propose a “half-baked” plan that is sure to lose at the polls or courts but will allow Faulconer and others to claim that they tried to save the team and thus avoid political damage. “Simply put, we have no intention of allowing the Chargers franchise to be manipulated for political cover,” Fabiani told the committee, “and we will call out any elected official who tries to do so.” http://touch.latimes.com/#section/626/article/p2p…— February 18, 2015 10:42 a.m.

A lesson in racism?
Police are getting too expensive. Lawsuits. Stand downs like the recent one in New York and the Secret Service standing down on the President twice and the recent stand down in Paris. Need to find a new source of manpower. Off-duty police working security outside the law.— January 23, 2015 2:01 p.m.

Popcorn is expensive. Some 4 oz bags at Whole Foods down the street from Ace HARDWARE are $4. A little more detail about the complaint would help. Did someone get sick.— January 23, 2015 1:50 p.m.
