Powerful--I can feel the words.— April 18, 2011 1:39 p.m.
The Doctor Is In
O. M. G. !!! This should be a regular column! I have SO many questions for the good doctor. I am thankful that we FINALLY have a REAL doctor to help us all with our neurosis. Dr. Peanut for President!!— April 1, 2011 3:57 p.m.
Either Side Of The River
Lovely, simply lovely. I will read this over and over again!— March 27, 2011 10:20 a.m.
Slicing Through
LOVE this! It would sound sweet recited against a soft saxophone playing in the background. Love the photo too. Very sexy.— March 6, 2011 4:59 p.m.
when passion is sweet
Beautiful, Nan. I can feel the words.— March 4, 2011 3:03 p.m.
The Cat That Filled the Hole in Our Hearts

Shell Game
Congratulations on the win!!! So glad you came back. I can't wait for your next story!— February 5, 2011 12:08 p.m.
Dueling Ideologies in Pacific Beach
Congratulations on the win! Beautiful piece. I felt exactly as you do when I first moved to Ocean Beach. After five years, my rose-colored glasses faded and I left. Maybe that won't happen to you. You sound like fellow Nomad. And we Nomads have a hard time staying put. What is just over the horizon is always beckoning. Here's hoping you found your nesting place. Welcome!— February 5, 2011 12:05 p.m.
Innocent Until Proven Guilty/fiction and poetry
If ever a painting could be translated into words, this is it. I love this--it is so vivid and moving. I felt like I was right there--like watching a movie. Bravo!— February 1, 2011 12:51 p.m.
Dirty Old Town
This is so lovely! Along with reading it, I can feel, hear, taste and smell the story. Don't worry about the formatting--it reads magnificently. Fathers and daughters have a special bond--one that transcends explanation. I'm sure Anna will love her "Dirty old town" because it is a part of you--and of her. And THAT is paved with gold. Of course, I always look forward to Nan's wise and entertaining comments, too! Self-publishing is the wave of the future. I just bought a Kindle and am going crazy with all the stuff available.— January 25, 2011 12:54 p.m.
