Clairemont’s home day-care shuffle
Herkimer is 100% right. The zone codes in this city are not enforced and our cracked clowns running the city know it. Why don't they do something about it? We ( taxpayers ) are paying them to do a job are we not? If the would quit worrying about getting reelected and do their damn jobs a lot of the problems in the city would go away. The audits done by Mr. Luna show just how bad the city is being run, yet nobody does any thing.— September 16, 2016 9:36 a.m.
Clairemont’s home day-care shuffle
Don't worry. Our cracked city council member won't do any thing about it any ways. Do what the hell you want went you want. There is no code enforcement any more in Clairemont and anything goes. Cates is a waste of time and money!— September 14, 2016 7:42 a.m.
Donna and Cory go after Jan
Prop C and D are both bad deals for the taxpayers of San Diego. Instead of using the money to buy a stadium for Dean and to help the hotel owner make some more money we should use the money to fund the pension debt and to rebuild the city. No on C and D is the best way to go here.— September 9, 2016 1:50 p.m.
"The Chargers are cheap and manipulative"
History repeats itself all the time. The Chargers screwed the taxpayers on the old stadium deal twice. What makes people think the new stadium deal is any different. The Chargers always have problems signing good players in the past. What would you expect from them now. Let them go to LA and be their minor league team because they will never be a good team here.— August 25, 2016 8:19 a.m.
College Area mini-dorm crisis in full swing
Mini dorms are not just a problem in the college area. The problem exist all over the city and the crack city council does nothing about it. When you have mini dorms in areas of the city that are zoned for single family houses and the city does nothing you have a big problem. The city council needs to give the code enforcement people the tools and laws so they can do their jobs. I have called many issues in and nothing ever gets done. All I get from my council member is lip service. The council needs to step up and do their damn job.— August 13, 2016 12:40 p.m.
Microtrenching threatens city streets
To bad Cate does not spend his time cleaning up his district. Under Cate's watch the district he is suppose to serve has gone to piece. We paved roads that were good and done nothing on the bad roads. Code enforcement is at a all time low. We have freeloaders on street corners begging for money. We have mini dorms all over Clairemont and all we get from his office is lip service. No time for that stuff ,but he has time to play with goggle? Time for a new council member in this district.— August 10, 2016 2:21 p.m.
San Diego’s pension investments tied to luxury trips?
Ha,ha,ha,ha .Dumb ass city's leaders lack of oversight!— August 6, 2016 1:12 p.m.
Rage against Trans-Pacific Partnership and Scott Peters
The real problem here is Peters. The real solution is to vote the clown out of office. Replace him with someone that will listen to the voters and act accordingly. Real simple stuff.— August 2, 2016 12:38 p.m.
Councilman Alvarez charges colleagues with devious ploy
Time for a "new city council " ! Let's clean house starting Election Day.— July 13, 2016 7:02 a.m.
Pot tax proposal heads to city council
Shirley, the real problem is the middle class is being sucked dried by paying the way for all the freeloaders in the world. Ca, has the most homeless people in the nation because we give them the most aid. I am tired of paying for all the welfare for people who don't try to help themselves. We don't need a pot shop on every street in the city because the people on welfare don't have cars. Giving my money to lazy people doesn't fix the problem either! Tax the hell out them.— June 22, 2016 7:32 a.m.
