The fate of a 19-year-old San Diego girl
take a hike (literally). or go to belo. or deco's or satin lounge (which was kind of lame the one time i went). or rent a car now (and pay crazy extra fees) and take a road trip and realize that the journey getting there is also part of the trip and sometimes better than the destination. (seriously--last yr my friend and i drove 5 hrs from the bay area to eureka to take pictures of a house and buy beer--crazy times man) and even though it sounds horribly cliche (because it is), it's also very true. there are plenty of things to do in san diego, regardless of age or money or transportation issues. also, freshman yr in school (and really, for any freshman in school-at loma) going to target was the highlight of many a friday night, and that was with taking a shuttle.— June 22, 2011 3:57 p.m.

Barbie's awesome. don't hate. also, the hangnail part confused me until i got the metaphor. i was, like, wait, what? ... oooh. lol. good one. seriously though, loved your progression!— June 22, 2011 8:46 a.m.
None
um, your first sentence makes no sense mindy. also, how anybody could not eat a dead animal is beyond me. i, however, don't go bashing vegetarians and vegans because they choose to not eat meat. get off your high horse and accept the fact that people are different. there's really no need to put others down because of what they like to eat (unless it's babies for population control, and even then...) also, i like your new profile pic. blue is very much your color.— June 20, 2011 10:56 a.m.

Terrible People
“'Isn’t that the kind of stuff she gets paid for? '" that's one of my biggest pet peeves in regards to horrible attitudes people have for custodians. housekeepers don't exist to clean up after you. they work to make things pretty. these are two completely different things.— June 15, 2011 4:42 p.m.

San Diego County Board of Supervisors Accused of Neglecting Social Services
“'If you were parents and were denying children food and health care, you would be accused of neglect,' Soucy said." this is still neglect. albeit not by parents, and not to chldren. denying people food is abuse. denying people proper care is abuse. lack of staffing (whether for public services or within one's own home) is not an excuse to ill properly care for someone.— June 9, 2011 8:29 a.m.
