Sunshine Cleaning is very cute, if you can stand Amy Adams' crestfallen-recovery-braveface thingy that she does in EVERY SINGLE MOVIE ad nauseum. *eyerolling thingy*— March 14, 2010 5:30 p.m.

I'm hungry, and there's no decent Mexican food within walking distance. Hell, there's no decent Mexican food within DRIVING distance, for that matter. Dammit. I miss San Diego. :(— March 14, 2010 5:25 p.m.

Heehee. It's a bit like a Mudslide. Depending on how your palate is set, it can come off a bit mediciney, or rather nice. Serve it chilled, for sure. :)— March 14, 2010 5:14 p.m.

"It's amazing to think that there are people who make a living making music from their computer, playing no real musical instrument at all, and some don't even know how to read music. And the music isn't bad at all." It's twue. Don't know if you caught it when I posted this link a few months back, for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TP2P_dmY0PY I think it's groovy. In other news, the book associated with this video, which was selling for major bucks back then, has since had a second printing and is now extremely affordable. I read it, reviewed it on Amazon, and been emailing a bit with the author. Very "Celestine Prophecy." Certainly not "great litterachaw," but very cool. These studios look the same in any city, I think. I had an audition in one up here in SF a few years back, and they just looked like warehouses, storage units or something. No signs, no nothing. As I recall, the one I visited up in either Clairemont or Kearney Mesa in SD looked just the same. And yes, my dear beanieblanco, ya makes a CD now. No Victrola required. :)— March 14, 2010 5 p.m.

Re #9: I thought Siamese, based on body and face type, ears, etc. Unfortunately, this is an entirely different kettle of kibble than we had with Jessie, where we had the owner and were looking for the cat -- quite a unique and easily identifiable purebred cat, at that. Having a cat and seeking the owner is considerably more difficult. I'd go with the FOUND posters, and ads in the Found section of the local papers (the ones that are free, anyway). You 'could' also take your Found flyer to the county animal shelters as well, or email them and the cat rescues with this blog link, just in case the owner checks those places for her. Since we have no specific target here and the cat is already out of your hands, I'll leave it up to you, Cuddle. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=ca… http://www.sddac.com/shelter_locations.asp http://www.sddac.com/other_locations.asp— March 14, 2010 1:52 p.m.

"has an ultrasound been done yet or does the fact Jay Allen doesn't have a uterus make things more complicated" LOL. Ya think? :)— March 14, 2010 12:53 p.m.

Holy smack! That sounds like crack! Seems folks are always trying to get that chocolate and red wine thingy going together. I have this in my fridge right now: http://www.vineyardfs.com/files/u1/Chocovine.jpg Bought it at Cost Plus, if you'd like to pick some up. :)— March 14, 2010 12:48 p.m.

Re #106: No worries, indeed. I see that RWE has already been vaporized. Ahhhhh, it smells better in here again already. :)— March 14, 2010 10:44 a.m.
