Maybe we can do something at some point, Grantie. Look what I just found for further study.

Got an email this morning from Lyn, Jessie's foster momma during her time with Rescue House. Evidently, Jessie (who Lyn was calling "Sienna,") so bewitched Lyn that she slept on the TILE FLOOR next to Jessie at night so that Jessie wouldn't be alone. That little cat's got some strong mojo going...
Anyway, I was speculating back at her about the idea of an "Amber Alert" for pets. Lo and behold, there is already such a thing. I'm not terribly surprised, really.
I'm not sure exactly what they do yet, or how well it's executed. Going back to the site to read more.
Anxious to know what you're going to do with yourself now. I actually thought you'd been on the lam since November.

Still researching pet finding services. Here are a couple of others. No idea what their real success ratio is like: http://www.petamberalert.com/ http://helpmefindmypet.com/— March 18, 2010 6:21 p.m.

Interesting. Sandra Bullock's (possibly soon to be ex) husband Jesse James' dog Cinnabun is still listed on this site. http://www.amberalertforpets.com/Arealostfound.ht… Holy Smokes! Jesse offered a $5000 reward! Wonder if he actually had to pay it to get her back? (Gotta admit, she's the prettiest Pit Bull I've ever seen.)— March 18, 2010 6:02 p.m.

Re #35: Sooooo many reasons not to try that. (Not being completely insane or independently wealthy right at the top.) :)— March 17, 2010 6:39 p.m.

For I Will Consider My Cat Jeoffry
Can't really remember anything else about how the lines go. Male poet, I'd say 19th century. I thought it might be this guy, but so far have only found this kitty poem from him: http://www.esselin.com/poetry.htm#poemsofthebacky… ...aaaand I gotta go to work. :(— March 17, 2010 7:03 a.m.
