Finding Sanctuary in Hawaii

Finding Sanctuary in Hawaii
Thank you for your comment! It is funny you should mention kayaking because lately my husband and I have gone Ocean Kayaking several times in the last couple of months. This past weekend, we camped out for a couple days on North Shore Beach and kayaked to a remote island off of Oahu. It was incredible! We saw live starfish, beautiful shells, coral, all kinds of sea life. It was astonishing to have the experience to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean waves! I have found bays and coves which offer me a great deal of peace and comfort. I do think the Zen Buddhists are correct; it's all about inner sanctuary and peace. I would have to agree with you 100% but some days are just harder than others. For example; last night I dreamed of visiting with my family and we drove all over San Diego. When I woke up this morning, I couldn't help but feel depressed because I woke up so far away from my family. But thank you so much for your comment, it was very touching. I will definitely look into your suggestions! A glass bottom boat would be a great next adventure!— March 17, 2011 8:46 p.m.
