Ms. Neylon was last elected in 2012, will be up again for election in 2016. Her three key endorsers were the San Diego County Democratic Party, and the American Federation of Teachers, Local 1931, and Mark Anderson, President of the San Diego County Board of Education. Any folks who have pull with any of these three supporters, please contact them and encourage them to "prod" Ms. Neylon to take a look at what is going on.— January 16, 2014 1:41 p.m.

I'm sorry, I believe Mr. Shinoff is as much a part of the problem as the rest of them. Window dressing and diverting attention seem to be his bag of tricks.— January 16, 2014 8:05 a.m.
No tough justice for former Southwestern College official
Anniej, again, as always, thanks for what you are doing. And thank you to all who are actively standing up against this inbred corruption.— January 13, 2014 11:05 a.m.

I wonder why this judge claims she "loves" the college...did she attend the school? Or maybe she just appreciates their fundraising galas?— January 11, 2014 9:38 p.m.

It is a laugh to think that she has too much work. Seriously. It's her job. Period.— January 10, 2014 2:28 p.m.

I believe this runs past the South County. When the issue of the "700 forms" first came out in the open, other Board Members in other districts quckly ran to "amend" their filings to avoid being caught at the very same events and for accepting gifts from the very same people. These tools will spend less time and money paying restitution for their CRIMES than many good people have spent of their own time and financial means to document their misdeeds. This judge clearly doesn't understand that the losers here are kids in public school--some of whom are on the very edge of risk. Those who have the very most to lose, compared to those who say, somehow manage to attend University of San Diego to collect a law degree. This is beyond disturbing.— January 10, 2014 2:27 p.m.

I don't often get interested in judicial elections, but it sounds like this one in 2017 is one to pay attention to.— January 10, 2014 10:43 a.m.
Sweetwater trustee Arlie Ricasa to resign
Any toadie who hopes to sit in this seat should be aware that they are under certain scrutiny. Say, for instance, a certain former football player seeks to gain this seat. Is there any WORSE company he could associate himiself with?— December 19, 2013 3 p.m.
