SD City College instructors plan protest
"Throughout U.S. upper education, adjuncts are vastly underpaid and treated like second-class citizens, despite the fact that they often have bettter degrees than tenured faculty, and have gotten better research published." That may very well be true, but why do they continue to do that work?— January 29, 2018 11:53 a.m.
El Cajon's homeless feeding ban reconsidered
Here is what befuddles me about all this. Has anyone even hinted that any of the folks who either prepared or distributed any of the food in question have Hep A or have somehow infected anyone? So the folks are redirected to community groups who will offer them food. Why are the people working for "Community groups" any more qualified to offer food products than simple volunteers?— January 24, 2018 4:39 p.m.
Taxpayers hosed by city airport vendor
Who is this "Vendor" and what services are they providing?— January 4, 2018 10:22 a.m.
Shocker! CPUC unanimously thumbs down SDG&E
And wasn't Kathleen Brown, the Governor's sister, on the Board til this all started getting out to the public?— December 1, 2017 10:47 a.m.
Historic value of O.B. kit home debated
i am just laughing at the idea that the "proposed structure" is considered attractive and "Craftsman in nature." Is there a talented architect in the building?— November 9, 2017 7:22 p.m.

Delinda. Did anyone (other than the victim) see this incident?— October 26, 2017 7:46 p.m.
Acid attack in O.B.?
Not a single witness cited? Is THIS what passes as "news" these days?— October 24, 2017 2:24 p.m.
City Heights' Fire Station 17 rehab near done
THAT is considered "beautiful?" yikes. How plain can you be? The old Circuit City is glad you liked their electric plug building idea.— August 30, 2017 4:48 p.m.
Dogs doused with acid in Oceanside
I'm having difficulty sorting this story out. Did the Defendent (David Herbert) tell Attorney James Weintre his questions were "stupid" or did the witness (Maria Morales Juares) say the questions were stupid? Is there any information as to what the basis of this argument was between the two families? Did the dogs bark and annoy the defendent? I also wonder why the prosecutor did not step in to object to the badgering questions. Is there an update to this from yesterday's events?— August 25, 2017 10 a.m.
