Streetlight spy shakeup hits San Diego city hall
I am intrigued by the photo of Mario Sierra that has been used for this article. Is there any explanation why a standard headshot was not used? The one you have here is a bit prejudicial and has no relation to the story.--and is not mentioned in the article.— March 10, 2021 8:35 a.m.

Was Little Italy’s al fresco dining experiment too popular for its own good?
So, this was not a restaurant review, it's a scolding for not wearing masks.— June 15, 2020 4:42 p.m.
San Diego's nay-sayers on opening up businesses now
Understandable that "Robert" has fears for his health. However, as a retired government employee, his pension is still coming in like clockwork. It's easy to think economic impacts are second to his concerns, since he has no change in income. "There are still way too many critically ill Covid patients coming into the hospital every day,” the Nurse interviewed said. From the chart I saw on the current situation, for 15 May was maybe 15 cases for the whole county.. If you are one of those 15, it's a serious issue. Out of the entire county population, that comes out a little differently. And as I understand it, South Bay Hospitals are also getting overflow patients from Imperial County? Tamiflu for the regular flu? How many patients even GET to the point they need that? And how many of those patients got the flu shot to try to stave off the illness? Calling COVID a "Beast" does nothing to define it, other than to apply a fear label to it. And if rotating patients in their bed is a new technique for dealing with pneumonia for this nurse....I have some questions about her level of competency.— May 21, 2020 2:20 p.m.
La Mesa eases up on the chickens
Chickens aren't that noisy. Roosters can be, in contrast. Like rabbits and other small animals, they can be very affectionate and fine domestic pets with personality. Any creature, including humans can be a health hazard, if they are not kept in reasonably healthy conditions.— January 29, 2020 10:56 a.m.

American ex-pats scared of deportation from Baja
How does it seem Americans are "Arrogant?" Your self-loathing is showing. In this article, most of the incidences are lack of knowledge and poor communication.— December 7, 2019 7:19 a.m.
